Bread Boutique wants you to love what you buy. This policy sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — nothing here limits those rights.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. If an item has a major problem — it is faulty, significantly different from its description, or unfit for its purpose — you are entitled to a refund, exchange or repair. For a minor problem, we may choose to repair, replace or refund. Please keep your proof of purchase.
Change of mind
Because our pieces are special-occasion garments, we accept change-of-mind returns for an exchange or store credit (not a refund) within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- unworn, unwashed and undamaged;
- in original condition with all tags attached; and
- free of makeup, deodorant, perfume or other marks.
Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your cost. Store credit is valid for 12 months.
Sale and final-sale items
Items bought on sale or marked “final sale” cannot be returned for change of mind, but your ACL rights for faulty items still apply.
Faulty or incorrect items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will cover return postage and arrange a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate.
How to return
Email jeanette@breadboutique.com.au or message us on Instagram with your order number and reason. We will confirm the return address and next steps. Please do not send items back before contacting us.
Refunds
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by the ACL.
In-store purchases
Purchases made in our Darwin boutique follow the same policy and can be returned in store with proof of purchase.
